Resolved

This issue has been mitigated by removing the affected Cloud Agent binaries (Intel 6.2.0-36 / ARM 6.3.0-41) to prevent additional impact. A corrected binary will be released in an upcoming hot fix. Customers who are currently experiencing the popup message will need to uninstall and reinstall the agent.

Investigating

Qualys Cloud Operations has identified an issue when upgrading Qualys Cloud Agent for macOS (Intel 6.2.0-36 / ARM 6.3.0-41) where end users may receive a popup stating:

“QualysCloudAgent is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.”

This condition occurs only on this specific macOS 15.6.1 (Sequoia) version. We are actively working with Apple to determine the root cause.
